Creating a Group

To create a group you will need to go here: http://groups.msn.com/create
You will see the form below.

1. Choose a group name, the name you choose for your group is important because once chosen it cannot be changed.
2. Describe your group, this is also important because the words you choose make it easier for people to find your group (The group decription can be changed later).

Click Continue, you will now come to the next part of the form:

1. Rate Your Group: Is your group going to be safe for all ages , more suitable for a mature membership  or Adult ?
2. Set Your Membership Policy: Do you want anyone to be able to see and join your group without permission, would you like people to be able to view your group but need authorization to join or would you like your group to be available only to members?
3. Choose Automatic File Deletion settings: It's usually best to set this at None.
4. Set Moderation settings: Do you want to be able to approve messages before they reach the boards?
5. Listed or Unlisted: Do you wish your group to be listed in the directory and search engine?
6. Preferred language?

Click Continue

Now select a category for your group, this is important if you want your group to be easily found.

Click Continue

Fill in your details, it's always advisable to make sure that the Allow other group members to see my e-mail address box is unchecked.

Once you have read the Code of Conduct, check the I accept box.
Then click Create my group!
