My Network Places

To open my network places , you have two ways. Click on My computer on your desktop and on left hand list click on My Network Places. Or you can go to your start menu and control panel then "network conections" under other places on left hand side click on my network places. Once there on the left hand side you will have Network Tasks.

To add a network place click add a network place as you can see I have one of my groups as a network place. Now I am going to add Web Help to that list.

Once you click on add a network place a wizard will pop up. Got to love windows xp for that.  Below is second page after you click next on your Wizard. Highlight the choose another network location for msn groups . Then click next.

   Then type in the URL to the website you want to add and again click next.

Then type in a name you want to show up for your new network place. For instance I am adding Web Help to mine. So I name it Webhelp.

Now click finish and you should see your new network place in My networkplaces. This is a great way to access groups or websites you spend alot of time on. You can also upload photos from here to the documents without having to go to the site. But that is another tutorial. lol darn i did it again.  Got to do another tutorial.
