Using Notepad for HTML Working in notepad to learn the HTML for tables is a great idea. Save as an HTML extension and view your progress, make changes, etc. Notepad is a great way to make or save your templates for tables or save entire community pages. Saving a page from community for backup: Click on the page you need to back up. Select the "Edit This Page" option that appears to managers and their assistants. Click the box or the link for "Use HTML to create your page". Highlight the entire selection -- top to bottom -- by holding down the right mouse button and dragging it to the end of the text you see. Press Cntrl C to copy. In a newly opened notepad document, press Cntrl V to paste. Save as blah.TXT to back up the text only. To view as a webpage when opened for some other need, save as blah.HTML
