With this tutorial you will be able to make quill siggys and siggys using pen graphics. We are going to use a quill.
First you need to bring up in animation shop your ink jar and your quill in separate frames.
Next open a new workspace I use a size at 800.
Now choose a color from the left screen color palette I am using color purple.
Now click on the big A to open your writing tool.
Play with the font size, font preference and Style then click ok like below.
Now you want to crop it, but make sure you have enough room for animation to flow as a pen. So make it big enough you can always crop again at end .
Next you want to drag your ink jar in place. Take it from the frame its in left click on mouse hold and drag and drop letting go as you drop.
Now you want to right click on the frame to duplicate it.
duplicate it at a high number you can always delete the frames not needed later.
Next you need your quill. duplicated as many times as possible in separate frames . You do this by pressing the shift and D at same time.
Now minimise them so you only use one at a time. Keeping an eye in case you get low and need more. Just shift and D again to get more.
Now your going to drag the first quill right on the ink jar.
In very last frame.
Now your next quill will go in next frame counting down or backwards. You need to put it at the tip of the very last word or letter.
Again now go to the next frame and put in your quill. Only this time your going to move it on the letter as if you were writting backwards.
You can close the empty frames as you go. Now you want to right click on that frame and send it to psp7 or 8 or 9 lol they all have rope
and eraser
tool that you will need.
Now in Psp you need to take the rope tool and trace around the area You will erase with the eraser tool. Like the two diagrams below.
update back to Animation shop When you're done. By just clicking on red x to close a window will show up asking if you want to update to AS . Just click yes.
Now you're ready to go to next frame to place your quill on the letter remember it needs to look like your writing at the end. Then follow same procedure. By right clicking and sending to Psp. Do same thing with rope and eraser tools.Until you get to beginning of the word or words.
