| Task Manager There are several ways to access the Task Manager. The two easiest are to either right click a blank area of your taskbar and select "Task Manager" or to use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + Alt + Del". The Applications tab below show the applications currently running on your system. Using Task Manager you can end any of those tasks. The processes tab shows which processes are running, it also shows the amount of memory they are using, once again you can shut a process down from task Manager. The performance tab gives a graphical display of your CPU memory usage. The Networking tab shows how much memory is being used by your Internet connection and any other network connections you may have. You can use the Users tab to disconnect from the network, log off or send a message to other users. There are also other options at the top, which amongst other things gives you the option to shut down your computer. | Copyright © Web Help |
