| Watermark Tutorial. |
|
First before Watermarking your work to copyright it. You kneed to know that any graphic that you did not make yourself is not yours to watermark and or put copyright © on.
I am going to show you how to watermark both a still and animated graphic. The still will be a photo I have taken just outside of Taber, Alberta, Canada. The animation is a Water background I made from one of my photos and then I made it circular and added waves.
First bring up your work in AS. {Animation Shop}
Next right click and send it to PSP7
Next click on the
tool. Then type in your copyright symbol, using alt+0169 to get © . You have to hold down the Alt while doing this, make sure to use only the numbers on your number key pad. Not above the alphabets.
Don't worry about color palets you won't need them on this one. But do decide on font and size .
It should look like this when done with its colors and marching ants.
Next you want to just have the marching Ants; so now you need to go to your layer pallet and see the one marked Floating Selection. You need to Right click on it and then click Delete.
Then just the marching Ants should show up.
Next we need the drop shadow Tool.
set them as i have them here. Play with the color palet here to get what would look best with photo or even graphic. sometimes a change is needed. I have used a yellow for this one. Click OK.
Next you want to remove the floating Ants , So go to Selections and choose none.
you should have your work like this below watermarked.
Just barely visible but visible. This is how you copyright your work.
Ok now to copyright an animation same steps only you will need to do some things different.
first bring up both the animation and a blank workspace about same size as animation.
Now right click on the blank workspace and send to PSP7.
Follow same steps as the still to get your watermark. Then update it back to Animation Shop.
Now the next step is your going to want to duplicate the watermark to match the number of frames in your animation . In this one I am going to use 5 .
Now make sure your number one frame is clicked once then go to select all frames.
Now you want to drag the first frame of the Watermark in place on the first frame of the animation.
Voila you have your your animation watermarked.
