Water Siggy Tutorial.

I am going to use this one

The first thing you need to do is bring up the siggy you want to use in your  Animation Shop. Or make one you want to use.

Now you want two of these so on your key board press  shift and D at same time . This will duplicate giving you to seprate frames.

Now on one frame your going to click Animation at top and then flip frame. This will give you one right side up and one upside down graphic.

Like this

Now using your new canvase or workspace tool open an new one  at 400 by 400 / Then fill it in with a black backround.

Now move your upsidedown siggy to the black backround by draging it into place. Do the same with rightside up one only having them touch at their farthest points. like i have done below.

now you want to resize it. so its at the size you want. I usally play between 50 percent or 75 depending on size of the canvas. for this one to get size you see now its 50 percent. Again you will have to right click and send to psp7 so you can sharpen it.

Now close and update back to Animation shop.

Here you will need to right click and duplicate the frames . I usally work  from 3 to 5 depending on the graphic I am working with. For this one im going to use five frames.

Now again you want the red and blue lines on first frame. Click Edit and then select all. Now all following frames should be  blue.  Right click and send all five frames to psp7.

We are going to use the wave tool in geometric

In your frames  pallet. First your going to need your rope tool.  Your going to go arround the upsidedown part of siggy like shown below.

Inside the rope you will be working with all frames

Frame number five  is the first one we will be working with.

You will need to put your settings like below.

The only one you will change with each frame as you go down is  wavelength under horizontal displacement. frame five we are using #7 so frame four will be # 6 counting down as you do frames closing each frame as you go. till you get to frame 1 then open them all .

Now you want to open all your frames you closed and update back to animation shop.  By clicking on your movie tool   You will beable to view your graphic in motion. If andwhen satified. Go to edit select all and then animation frame properties. the higher the number the slowing the animation .the lower the number , the fastest. you want to set all frames at same spead. Then you want to view animaton  Properties. Go to the looping and set it to continuous and below is what you should end up with.

May you all have fun playing in the Water tutorials.
