Cleaning out files, cookies , & history.
Everything you type or say , on messengers , on groups or forums . Everywhere you go on the net is in these files and need to be cleaned out daily. They can slow down your computer and can leave you open for attack, If you don't clean them out. If your one who surfs the net often or are on-line all day then you should clean this out at least three times in that day. If you do any banking or personal affairs on-line. You should clean this out immediately after leaving the websites . clearing the ssl slate cache is also essential. but only needs to be done once a month. You will find below how to do all this.
First click on your Start menu then control panel. As shown below.
Now there are two ways to view your control panel both are below.
On first view click on Internet Options. On second view choice you need to first click on Network and Internet Connections , then on Internet options at bottom. As shown below.
The next window you will see is the one below.
The first step is to click on Delete cookies a small window as such below will show up . Just click OK.
Next click on Delete files. Again another window will show up. Make sure to check mark delete all offline content then click OK. As shown below.
Next click clear History. Again another window will show up asking you if you are sure you want to clear history. Click yes. Also make sure your days to keep pages in history is marked at 0 most default is marked at 20 but you don't want to be keeping this in your history.
Next you want to check your settings, click on settings next to delete files. The window below will show up. Make sure you have the 'Check for new versions of stored pages ; " marked to never. Then click OK.
Next once a month clean out the ssl slate cache. on the tabs above your Internet properties window click on Content. This window will show up below. Click on clear SSL Slate
Another window will show up letting you know it was successfully cleared . Just click OK.
Now you know how to keep these files cleaned and protected.
