| | Airbrushing Tutorial |
| This is one I personally use often. Once you get the hang of it you will enjoy airbrushing. First you need to open animation shop. Get as many pics you need for this graphic. Then right click on each one and send them to Psp . As you will see ive done below. The ship is one that sits on top of my tv. The Jesus is a bumper sticker the stars backround is one ive put together and the photo i took from where I grewup a river called Fredrickhouse River or some may call it Cannaught Lake . In Northren Ontairo Canada. Now the ship and Jesus needed some cleaning up work. You do that by using your rope and erasser tools . This gave them their own identity. away from where they came. The photo. I have changed the lighting to give it this red sky effect. You do that by playing with this lighting tool. Next you want to minimize all the graphics you have in psp that you want to use for your airbrushed graphic. Now go to animation shop and get a new canvas or work space. 800 by 800 don't worry about size we can resize later. Now right click on it and send it to psp. Next you want to use your flood fill tool and fill the transparent workspace with black color. Using your color chart. Now first you want to put the stars background or what ever background you want for what I needed this graphic for I needed the stars background. You don't need a background its your choice. Now click on your airbrush tool. then go to your patterns on right side this window will show up below you need to go and find the first pic you want to use. I will be using the stars background first. You will want to play with the scale and angle depending on the effect your looking for. The scale will give you a certain size of graphic. You will have to play with this often to get it into position on your workspace, that you are looking for. Next you will want to play with the tool options for airbrush and get the settings your looking for . For the background im using I want the full strength effect. Then Place your cursor on the workspace and fill it in as I am doing below Once done your going to go and get your next pattern or gaphic as you did with this one. on the right. My next one will be the photo. again play with angle and scale . For the size of canvas we are working on I find between 77 and 97 work best. For a photo. You can always crop when your done. Then again play with your tools options. You will want to make your settings lighter. You do this by playing with size hardness and Opacity. You can get differant effects with the Density but I rarely use that one unless the effect needs it. You will need to do this with each graphic or photo you use along with playing with the scale and angle. Then this is what you end up with in the end. Now you update back to animation shop crop and resize. Remember once you resize send back to psp and sharpen. And if your really ambitious and want the water moving try our water move tutorials. you will have something like this I use this on my music page. Have fun. © WebHelp |
