For making Templates 

For MSN Groups

MSN only allows HTML no java script unless its a small file uploaded to your documents That you would link to. So making templates and using msn tools to do your pages are the best  way of making your pages. Here we are doing the Front page tutorial for templates. 

You will be able to learn how to make a basic template.Later you can play with it and make it different By playing with the tables. We will be using two backronds like so

and one solid color like so

For this tutorial you will have to use backgrounds on your site to do. because you will need the URL to those backrounds.

First go get your program open from your programs in start menu

like so

now your page will be open make sure you are set on normal view as I have  it below

now you want to insert a table

click on table

now set your table as I have below for your first backround.

Click ok you should have your first table in now you want to fill it with  a backround .  click your cursor on the left side of your table highlighting the inside of background. Like so:

Next click on Format and then the down arrow

Now you want  to click on properties.

Next your going to get the URL to put in backgrounds where I have it checkmarked. To do this follow instructions after this one.

Now minimize your work window and open a new window to your group photo where you store your backgrounds your wanting to use. Open your background

Now right click and click on Properties 

Now you want to copy the url. Put your cursor at the left right next to http hold down go across and straight down to get the entire URL . If you miss some like what ive shown below you will not be able to use it. It needs the entire URL.

Copy after all highlighted in blue then press Ctrl  and C to copy. Your computor will remember what you just copied. Now go to your other window. and paste the URL in the background  space by Ctrl and V . then click apply
