Animation Shop Simple Siggy |

You will learn both one color simple siggy and then two colors giving a 3D effect. Follow the steps below.
First open Animation Shop. Then choose the colors on the right two pallets you wish to use.
Again remember top palette is your left button click on mouse when using and bottom color is your right button click on mouse.
Next your going to click on this tool 
to open a new canvas or work space. Always work in a large enough space You can always crop when it is finished. choose 400 by 400. You want it transparent.
diagram below will show you what it looks like.
and this is what you get mine is smaller than what you would see.
Now you should of had your two colors chosen so Next step is to click on text tool. 
then the color you want for one color simple siggy should be your top color so with your curso on the workspace like shown above. left click on your mouse anywhere in that work space and this window will show up.
Type in your siggy name choose the size and font you want.
then click ok.
Now you will have a simple siggy move it to a good place on your workspace like shown below
Now you have a simple one color siggy. Only you don't want all that extra space. I will tell you why. When you upload a siggy or even a graphic you made and leave all the surrounding space. That extra space will count as part of your storage space So you want it smaller and illiminated and if it is a graphic for a webpage you will end up with alot of space you don't want . So now we are going to crop it.
By clicking on the crop tool. 
then croping arround your siggy playing with the four sourounding lines to move them in or out . when you place your cursoe on one of the lines a two way arrow will show up allowing you to set your crop lines. like diagram below.
Then above the crop tool is the word crop button like in diagram below. click it to crop.
Then you should have this left.
elimination of extra space unneeded.
Now when you want to save your siggy . follow steps below for saving your siggy.
To save it you have the two options.
- just save
- or save as.
- The way I do it is close the siggy by the red x
- automatically it ask you to type in a file name. this is save as.
- Tip if your working on a previous siggy file that you open it won't ask you for a file name instead it will ask you if you want to save changes to that file.
- If your wanting to save it as a new file best to go to your save as tool.
and give the file a new name. this way you have a new file and old one is still there.
Now you have your siggy saved and ready to upload to your photo albums for use.
And It will look like this. Only with siggy name you put.
ok now with two colors for 3D effect.
Same thing follow the instructions for single color siggy.
only choose your colors for the two right mouse click being bottom color and left mouse click being top.
When you have your workspace or canvas open . choose the darker color which should be your left button for first color if the darker color is on bottom pallete choose the right click on mouse.
Then choose your text tool.
and click on canvas or workspace with the first color you perfer.
a window for your text will show up again type in text . then highlight. set your font and size. then click ok.
Now this is your first color . place into place on your canvas. and then click canvas again with the other color. Remember right click gives you one color left the other.
Your text window will show up again. now you already have the font and size and text so all you do is click ok. drag your second text just over the first leaving enough backround to give the 3D effect. crop and save and you should have something like this.
